ghostengineering317@yahoo.com I learned that drive time has not reported two years worth of payments made on time ( entire time I’ve had my car) there is absolutely zero history of drive time on my credit. what are my options?

I have been making on time payments over two years now to DriveTIme. I recently tried to trade in my vehicle at another dealership, I found out they will not help me pay the balance due to no credit history on the vehicle I bought at DT

Per Experian DriveTime can have the trade line added back on to our credit report. DriveTime has to contact their Experian Representative and go through the exception process for each individual account. I have filed complaints against DriveTime and Experian. They each have fifteen days to respond to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which a US Government entity. I will keep you posted on my progress. Hope this helps.

Not reporting to my credit file either!
I have the same scenario and problem. Go online and file a complaint. I went to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau website and filed 4 complaints. One for each Credit Bureau and one for Drive Time Acceptance. I have paid 3 1/2 years of on time car payments and will not receive the benefit of a positive trade line. This is a slap in the face since last year they reported a late payment and negative reporting pertaining to a BK that was dismissed and did not include their vehicle. I opted to pay the debt off. I will keep you updated on my progress. This is ridiculous.

I’ve been paying on my vehicle for over a year under the impression I was rebuilding my credit history with this company, only to find out there is no reporting to any agency. Wouldn’t this be considered a breach of contract on their part? If making the car payment biweekly is not helping me credit wise, then I might as well go rent a car somewhere else. I’m looking into a class action lawsuit since I am definitely not the only one affected!

My account was reported accurately. In 2014, drive time pulled my account from all credit reports and will not add them back stating, because of my bankruptcy it can not report it. That is a lie, I was in bankruptcy before I bought the car. I was asked to five them a particular letter proving I had my final hearing and I was financed. What can I do to get this back on my credit file and what is drive time hiding. Did they illegally sell me a car? My credit score has dropped over 30 points since this has happened.

We only listed four numbers for the references and now they are using a third party to find my husbands mothers information? They should have stopped doing that! She is getting harassed by them and yes we are behind in payments because they refused to help us fix the car which we have to pay for ourselves. Who can we contact to be a part of a lawsuit?

they do not answer the phone. This is from the responses from Drive Time to consumers to call them at this number to handle their concerns regarding credit reports. I’ve been holding the phone for 30 minutes thus far.

3 years of perfect payment history down the tunes. Not a blip of it shows in my credit. We discovered while trying to purchase a new car. My credit is a disaster as a result. So furious.

I bought a car from drive time may of 2005. I had the car for 2 months. It got stolen from a store parking lot. I gave police reports showing the car was never found. However it shows on my credit as a repossession. Wtf!!! I am stuck with this on my credit since 2005. Destroyed my credit.

I have been paying on my car from drive time for 3 1/2 years and when another car dealership pulled my credit they said there is no record of drive time on my credit history making it harder for me to get another vehicle. Very frustrating!!!

I’ve been paying my car now for a year, have my payment history, 24 payments made so far, on time every two weeks. Not a single report from Drive Time on my credit report. I was going to co-sign for my brother yesterday and when they asked me if I was paying a car I said “yes” for a year now, they ran my credit and come to find out no where on that report does Drive Time appear. SMH. best believe I will get to the bottom of this.

After much research I come up with this article.

Even when paying on time there is no reporting to the credit bureau. When I purchased they emphasized that they reported every 30 days. Not happening.

Didn’t the Better Business Bureau just recently upgrade Drive Time’s rating to an “A+” ? Looks like the BBB, as usual, is out of touch will reality !!!!

Seems funny how DriveTime is the bad guy. The person who bought the car and is now not paying for it and is hiding it from the repo man (is that not theft?) is the good guy. 100 years ago the sheriff would come and arrest you if you didn’t pay your bills.
