Universal Warranty Corp. Joins DealerTrack Aftermarket Network
LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. (July 25, 2006) — DealerTrack Aftermarket Services announced that Universal Warranty Corp. has joined DealerTrack's Aftermarket Network. UWC is a leading provider of vehicle service contracts and other F&I products.
According to executives, the DealerTrack Aftermarket Network offers real-time information on connected aftermarket vendors' products and services, with no charge to dealers. Other products remain in the pilot phase.

"The DealerTrack Aftermarket Network will provide dealers with updated live information on available options for each vehicle and deal. It will also include categories of aftermarket products. From UWC's perspective, joining the network should help increase its market penetration and boost customer satisfaction, while reducing contract errors and administrative costs."

In other recent news, DealerTrack announced that Michael Maledon, a consultant to Van Enterprises, and Gil Van Over, of gvo3 & Associates, has joined its DealerTrack Compliance Advisory Council.
The council was formed to assist the company in its efforts to educate dealers about compliance issues, along with helping the company to create additional products to better help dealers manage compliance risks.
"Dealers face a daunting challenge in trying to identify and interpret all the state and federal regulations that can impact their business every day," explained Mark O'Neil, chairman and chief executive officer of DealerTrack.
