Fla. Pre-Owned Road Shows Start Thursday
CARY, N.C. — Thursday marks the first of two Pre-Owned Road Shows to be held in Florida in the coming weeks — in Tampa on Feb. 11 and in Orlando on Feb. 16. These free training events will provide dealers with the latest information, tools and skills for selling more pre-owned units and profiting more in their pre-owned operations and are organized by the Pre-Owned Automobile Dealers Alliance.
Attendees at these free training sessions will hear presentations from representatives of CARFAX, DealerTrack, LaserAppraiser, APCO, Black Book and Manheim. In addition, Kelley Blue Book will present at the Orlando Road Show. All of the presentations are geared toward helping dealers sell more pre-owned cars and increase their pre-owned profits. Details on the specific workshop topics, locations and how to register are available at www.poada.biz/roadshow.
"We are passionate about the pre-owned business and profit potential and want to share these events with you and your team of managers," said Bruiser Mann, executive director of POADA. "The only mission of POADA is to help dealers sell more and profit more in their pre-owned operations. We launched this educational and training series of Pre-Owned Road Shows to do just that by bringing the best of the best to your backyard.
"I hope you'll join us for one free, power-packed morning that will help you sell more pre-owned vehicles, faster and for more money."
Participation in the half-day Road Show events is free to any dealer, and speakers' presentation slides will be made available following the event.
