Edmunds announced the winners of its 2024 Edmunds Five Star Dealer Awards, honoring 133 dealers nationwide for outstanding customer satisfaction ratings.

The company said 11 of those dealers earned the Edmunds Five Star Premier Dealer designation.

Five Star Dealer Awards were presented to dealers who actively participate in the Edmunds Dealer Partner program and earned an average customer sales review rating of at least 4.5 stars on Edmunds with at least 30 reviews during the 2023 calendar year.

Five Star Premier Awards went to dealers with a rating of 4.5 stars or better with at least 150 reviews on Edmunds.

Edmunds said less than 2% of its dealer partners earned a 2024 Five Star Award.

“As the automotive industry continued to grapple with affordability challenges in 2023,” Edmunds president Seth Berkowitz said in a news release, “car shoppers increasingly leaned on trusted guidance from resources like Edmunds and placed stronger emphasis on positive shopping experiences when deciding where to spend their dollars.

“Edmunds’ Five Star Dealer Awards recognize the incredible effort dealerships across the nation have made to deliver exceptional service and go above and beyond for their customers.”

The complete list of 2024 winners, sorted by state, can be found here. Florida led all states with 30 Edmunds Five Star Dealerships, including four of the 11 Five Star Premier Dealers. Michigan also had four Premier Dealers.

Edmunds Five Star Dealerships are organized by state, making it easy to identify local winners. Car shoppers can look up the reviews and ratings for any dealer in their area on the Find a Dealer page on Edmunds. Winning dealerships are distinguished by the Five Star Dealer badge on Edmunds and are also presented with a physical trophy to celebrate their achievement.
