Fisker continues building its dealer network with two U.S. additions
Electric vehicle manufacturer Fisker continues building its new dealer network with the addition of two dealer partners set to open three locations in the U.S.
The new dealers are Bul Auto Sales, which plans to open Fisker Albany (N.Y.) and Fisker Jacksonville (Fla.), and Karma Indy, which will open Fisker Indianapolis.
The company has now signed six dealer partners in the U.S. and six in Europe, with its American dealerships encompassing 10 locations in eight states. It announced its first four U.S. dealers earlier this month.
“It’s great to see high-quality dealers continuing to come on board,” chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said in a news release. “Our entire team is excited when we hear how confident our dealers are in terms of sales, thanks to the competitive nature of the Fisker Ocean and its class-leading features.”
The signings represent the latest progress in Fisker’s shift from direct sales to a dealer partnership model, which was unveiled Jan. 4. The company said the model includes no-haggle pricing on Fisker vehicles — beginning with the Ocean SUV — and larger market territories that allow dealers to maintain pricing without concern for local competition.
