Dealer news: Acquisition gives legacy her first dealership; Plus, moves by indiGO & Ourisman
A young dealer has her name on a dealership for the first time.
Kate Faupel Grealish, who grew up in the car business as the daughter of dealer Ron Faupel and began working in his dealership at age 15, is now the proud owner of Kate Faupel Ford in Henderson, Ky. — not far from her dad’s Henderson Chevrolet GMC.
Grealish and Faupel acquired the dealership, previously known as Henderson Ford, from Dave Stumbo, according to Performance Brokerage Services, which represented the buyer in the transaction.
The dealership has been in operation since 1968 and was purchased by Stumbo in 2019. He currently owns Toyota of Gallatin in Tennessee and Toyota of Bowling Green in Kentucky.
Grealish had served as general manager of Henderson Chevrolet GMC since 2021. Now she has her own store in her hometown in northern Kentucky, just south of Evansville, Ind.
“It’s pretty cool,” she told Evansville Living magazine. “It’s a lot of pressure, I’m not going to lie. But it’s really neat, and I’m excited.”

WarrCloud joins dealers associations
WarrCloud, an automated warranty processing provider for dealers said it has joined the Missouri Automobile Dealers Association and St. Louis Auto Dealers Association.
“The warranty claims process for dealers requires a mountain of paperwork and is subject to human error in many steps of the process,” WarrCloud founder and CEO Jim Roche said. “We’re proud to partner with MADA and the St. Louis Auto Dealers Association to bring this technology to more dealers.”
WarrCloud, the winner of the NAVIcon Cup during Used Car Week 2022, recently announced a partnership with the American International Automobile Dealers Association.
“With warranty claims and repair costs on the rise, dealers need the best software to help them navigate the process and keep more profit in their dealership,” MADA managing partner said. “WarrCloud takes advantage of technology to reduce error and speed up processing time, ensuring dealers not only keep more profit but they get paid faster, too.”
