CARFAX has earned GM’s seal of approval.

The company announced its CARFAX Car Listings has been approved by General Motors for its in-Market Retail Turnkey program.

CARFAX said the designation means GM dealers, which includes the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands, can now use iMR Turnkey for CARFAX Car Listings.

In a news release, Daniel Ramsdell, executive manager of John Thornton Chevrolet in Lithia Springs, Ga., said the collaboration “means boosting our online visibility and tapping into the massive pool of over 25 million shoppers browsing CARFAX.com every month.”

Through the program, CARFAX said, consumers will be connected with dealerships and be able to select a GM new, used or certified pre-owned vehicle, with a CARFAX vehicle history report available on every used and CPO listing.

As a result, CARFAX vice president for dealer business Gregg Cleary said, “dealers will free up digital marketing budgets and time, allowing them to focus more on helping confident, ready-to-buy CARFAX consumers with their purchase.”
