McLEAN, Va. — The National Automobile Dealers Association is pushing back the advanced registration deadline for the NADA Convention & Expo to Jan. 27, which will allows dealers and their managers a few extra days to sign up early and save $50 to $75.

Dealers and their managers can also enjoy a $200 voucher from NADA to put toward goods and services on the expo floor. 

Officials said the early registration figures have already passed the actual total number of attendees from last year's event.

"It's time to focus on the future," stated John McEleney, 2009 NADA chairman. "We've put together a strong lineup of expert speakers and practical workshops, including 19 franchise meetings.

"To date, there are nearly 450 exhibitors," he continued. "If you have not yet registered, now is the time."

Keynote speakers at the event — which will be held Feb. 13-15 in Orlando, Fla. — include McEleney, 2010 NADA chairman Ed Tonkin, Volkswagen president and chief executive officer Stefan Jacoby, AutoNation chairman and CEO Mike Jackson, and energy activist T. Boone Pickens, each of whom will offer their perspectives on the industry's future.

Some of the nearly 100 workshops attendees can choose from include such topics as driving profitability, managing cash flow and improving inventory ROI, as well as increasing service productivity.

There are also four new "Executive Track" workshops aimed at high-level dealership managers.

What's more, NADA has added three hours of bonus workshops that kick off at 1:30 p.m. (EST) on Feb. 12.
