ACERTUS acquires Guardian Auto Transport
Logistics-as-a-service platform ACERTUS has made its sixth acquisition, announcing Tuesday it has purchased Guardian Auto Transport.
The acquisition builds on the company’s “commitment to strengthening its platform with best-in-class logistics, now supporting large-format vehicles,” ACERTUS said in a news release.
This continues a years-long line of acquisitions for ACERTUS and parent company MetroGistics, which has acquired MetroTitle, Amerifleet, McNutt, VehicHaul TMS and RCG Logistics.
The purchase was effective immediately, and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Strategic partnerships and investments are core to ACERTUS’ ability to serve the needs of our customers and deliver a full suite of vehicle logistics services,” ACERTUS CEO Trent Broberg said in the release.
“The acquisition allows us to expand our capabilities while fostering Guardian Auto Transport’s deep and lasting relationships with Fleet Management Companies (FMCs),” Broberg said. “We are excited to welcome Mike Bulshteyn, Eric Field, and the entire Guardian Auto Transport team to our platform. Together, we are poised to operate as one trusted partner, delivering superior service and value to our clients.”
Guardian co-founder and CEO Mike Bulshteyn added: “Our aspiration has always been to lead as the complete logistics solution for the automotive sector. Joining the ACERTUS team allows us to expand our service offerings, ensuring we consistently exceed our customers’ expectations.
“The platform brings increased operational support, advanced technology, and a robust infrastructure to enhance the delivery of a world-class customer experience. While our dedicated professionals continue to provide exceptional attention, our customers and vendors will now enjoy the added benefits of ACERTUS’ suite of services, including storage, title, registration, and more.”
